Santa's On Bikes ("SOB", "we") is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 87-4818891). This policy explains what information we collect through www.santasonbikes.com and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address, billing details Stripe provides, and the amount of your gift.
- Family registration. If you register a family for holiday gift assistance, we collect the guardian's contact information and address, and information about the children or elderly family members such as first names, ages, clothing sizes, and gift wishes.
- Contacting us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site. It uses cookies and collects general usage data such as pages viewed and browser type.
How we use it
- To process donations and send receipts for your tax records.
- To purchase, organize, and deliver gifts to registered families.
- To answer your questions.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Family information is shared only with SOB volunteers who need it to buy and deliver gifts. We may disclose information if required by law.
Keeping it safe
Payments are handled entirely on Stripe's secure, PCI-compliant pages. Family registration information is stored on our secured server and accessible only to authorized SOB volunteers.
Your choices
To review, correct, or delete your information, email contactus@santasonbikes.com. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children; children's information is provided by their parent or guardian.
Donation Policy
- Where your money goes. SOB is 100% volunteer run. Donations are used to purchase and distribute holiday gifts to families who are unable to provide them, and for the direct costs of doing so.
- Tax deductibility. Santa's On Bikes is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, EIN 87-4818891. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. An emailed receipt is sent for every donation; please keep it for your tax records.
- Refunds. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you made a donation in error (for example, a wrong amount or a duplicate charge), email contactus@santasonbikes.com within 30 days and we will refund it.
- Payment security. All donations are processed securely by Stripe. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
